Among Us is an online multiplayer murder mystery game featuring little blob people in monochromatic space suits. Imagine for a moment, though, that beneath those nearly formless 2D exteriors, existed poundcake asses and monster dongs. Maybe instead, you’d prefer that the creatures beneath these “space suits” aren’t human at all. In fact, they’re not even space suits — that is simply their body, and they can develop purple dicks and blue buttholes at will to match their form.
These are, of course, the visual narratives that have been created by the pervs devoted to Among Us, who have transformed the simplistically designed game into porn.
Once again, Rule 34 is proven true.
Among Us NSFW
It might seem niche, but searches for “Among Us NSFW” are currently 7th in popularity for NSFW-related searches on Google, and PornHub recently reported that there have been 4.7 million searches for Among Us content since the beginning of September. This is comparable to searches for Fortnite porn, which at very least features more humanoid characters.
Among Us was originally released in 2018, but has grown significantly over quarantine. Part of the current popularity of the game is that it can be played remotely among friends, similar to digital party games like Jackbox. However, the game’s popularity has also expanded among streaming gamers on Twitch, and players often find fellow people to play with utilizing Discord servers. So while the game can be played among real-life peers, it can also be done completely anonymously.

Still, the game is neither aesthetically nor thematically erotic on an immediate level. As mentioned, the characters essentially lack shape, and the plot of the game is to discern who among the group is the “Imposter,” the task of whom is to covertly kill off the remaining players. These themes of murder and paranoia often make appearances in Among Us porn, particularly on r/AmongUsPorn, which currently has just under 22,000 subscribers. On the subreddit, the only real similarity between posts is the fact that it features the characters from the game and occasional mention of Imposters and blood. Beyond that, a wide variety of genres is present, from straightforward lesbian illustrations to tentacle porn.
Across the subreddit, the pornographic images seem largely to be a type of tribute to a game that has blossomed over recent months, perhaps dominating the lives of people stuck at home without much to do. At times, the posts seem satirical, or at least acknowledge the outlandishness of making porn out of blob people. In others, though, the level of detail and graphic storylines are far too intensive to be a joke.
Precisely what is so sexy about a 2D game about intruders and murder featuring creatures that look like fresh Play-Doh right out of the tub, while at first dumbfounding, is also somewhat obvious: The simplicity of the game allows for endless imagination, which quickly leads to erotic curiosity. The thread of mystery and hidden identities, too, feels both playful and taboo. More than that, though, Among Us is just on people’s minds. It was only a matter of time before the wires got crossed.
