Each holiday comes with its own special traditions. For Thanksgiving, it’s turkey and football. For Christmas and Hannukah, there’s Santa and candles. And for all holidays falling between the end of October and New Year’s Eve, there’s porn.
That’s right. According to PornHub, consuming holiday-themed porn is as much a part of Americans’ winter celebrations as pumpkin pie and eggnog. The adult content aggregator reported last year that in the days leading up to Thanksgiving, searches involving the words “Pilgrim” grew by 6,214 percent and “Thanksgiving” by 2,381 percent.
In order to find out what exactly constitutes a “Pilgrim” or “Thanksgiving” scene, we tracked down two adult performers who have starred in variations on those themes. Last year, Kendra Lust starred in Brazzer’s “Kendra’s Thanksgiving Stuffing,” and Nina Rivera creates her own adult content around the holidays from her home in West Virginia — including “Giving Thanks as a Pilgrim” and “Lil Indian Slut.”

“Kendra’s Thanksgiving Stuffing” is the only Thanksgiving scene I’ve done to date. In it, I’m this hot mom who’s preparing Thanksgiving dinner for my daughter and her boyfriend. My husband is a pushover; he’s just kind of there. Nor does he give me good sex. So when my daughter brings her boyfriend over for Thanksgiving dinner, I take him into the kitchen and blow him. I know some people just fast-forward through those parts, but it can be hot. Can you imagine being a young guy and getting jerked off under the table by someone your girlfriend’s mom? That’s fun. I also enjoyed yelling at the dad, because that’s so not me in real life. I’m a pleaser.
I think people like the stepmother, step-sibling, family taboo stuff during the holidays because when you think of the holidays, you always think of home. For me at least, I think of home. And you have — whether it’s a hot mom, stepmom or an aunt — somebody who’s maternal but also attractive. Then you also have all this food. It’s like all the feel-good stuff.
Honestly, the family stuff does well year-round. I haven’t checked the stats lately, but as far as most viewed or downloaded, “stepmom” or “MILF” is usually in the top three — the holiday stuff just gives it a fresh angle. [PornHub’s 2016 Year in Review revealed that “stepmom” was the second most frequently searched term on the site; “MILF” was third.] People like it because of the taboo; it’s this forbidden fruit: “I’m not supposed to, but I can’t help that my stepmom or stepsister is attractive. I’m going to fuel my desire and fulfill my needs despite being related in some sort of way.”
The MILF and stepmom stuff is also popular because older women know what they want sexually. Back in my 20s, I was still trying to figure things out. There were certain positions I didn’t want to do because I didn’t think they were aesthetically pleasing to the naked eye. I was still figuring out what worked for me, what I liked and how to tell my partner about it. Maybe it was out of a fear of not pleasing my partner, or offending them somehow. Now in my 30s, it’s so much easier because I know what I want and take it. I’m not afraid, because my partner isn’t going to reject me. They’re going to love it.
As far as the family stuff, I know some people say, “That’s wrong!” And they’re certainly entitled to their opinion. But I don’t mind filming it, because it’s not real. It’s fantasy.

During the holidays, porn girls usually make themed content for Christmas or Thanksgiving, and then promote it that way. So when I made my Thanksgiving scenes last year, I wanted to be either a Pilgrim or an Indian. I wound up doing two Indian scenes and two Pilgrim scenes. I got the costumes on eBay; I just typed in “Indian costumes” and “Pilgrim costumes.”
One of the Indian scenes was my first solo scene; the other was a boy-girl scene. The Indian scenes were indoors, and the Pilgrim scenes were outdoors. Other than that, there wasn’t much of a plot to them. It was just the costumes that made the fantasy. The Indian costume was a dress, leather ankle wraps and a headband. The Pilgrim costume was a short bra top, an ankle-length black skirt and a Pilgrim bonnet.
The way I come up with scenarios just depends on the holidays. Like for Christmas, I can be a little elf. Or someone might give me a “gift.” For St. Patrick’s Day, I incorporate green. And for Halloween this year, I dressed up as Poison Ivy from Batman.
With the holiday scenes, it doesn’t always involve a lot of planning; the most important thing is that it represents the holiday.
The Thanksgiving scenes incorporated a couple of different fantasies. Cosplay is definitely one of them. But having sex outdoors in the Pilgrim scenes is a fantasy for a lot of people, too. I did some foot fetish in the Indian scene as well. The whole stepfather-stepdaughter fetish is also a big theme for Thanksgiving and Christmas — that’s at least the biggest comment I get from my fans. When I did the Thanksgiving scenes last year, I was just starting out and I was mostly trying to get something up in time for the holiday. I live on a lot of land in West Virginia — I’m the only porn performer that I know of out here — and me and Don shot a Pilgrim blowjob scene in the woods that came about at the last minute. I don’t really want to shoot in a studio all the time, and since I have a lot of wooded areas, I like to change it up.
Overall, I’m working on making my own content and trying to write scripts with scenes that go beyond, “I want to fuck you.” I want to provide a story and connection where the fans can have the whole fantasy. For instance, for Halloween, we did a four-part scene.
