It is, of course, difficult to know what to make anymore of those from our past—most of all those who made a living telling jokes in decidedly un-PC times. But this much is true: This particular Sam Kinison bit is both hilarious and trenchant about the nature of celebrity, particularly when involving the narcotically inclined. So while it’s not necessarily about the lines that we generally discuss on Black Friday, it’s well worth listening to when you’re standing in them today.
