No matter how hard you try, there is, unfortunately, no way to experience what an orgasm feels like for somebody else. You can Google it, attempt to mimic the feeling with a simultaneous or crowd orgasm or even test out erotic VR body-swapping, but, ultimately, your orgasm is — for better or worse — unique to you.
Still, this fact doesn’t seem to have deterred people from trying and — so they claim — succeeding at experiencing what an orgasm feels like for another gender. To that end, over the last few years, a handful of redditors have taken to the Erotic Hypnosis subreddit to seek advice or document their experience of having a so-called “female orgasm” through hypnosis.
Although the word “hypnosis” terrifies the porn world, and many sites censor hypnosis content, erotic hypnosis is simply used to enhance feelings, explore out-of-this-world fantasies and help people experience sexual sensations without physical touch. Basically, as Neil the Erotic Hypnotist previously told MEL, “anything you’re able to imagine, I can make you feel.”
So, what if you want to imagine that you’re a woman having an orgasm? According to one redditor, who we’ll call Craig, all you have to do is listen to female orgasm hypnosis audio, smoke some weed, take your clothes off and lie still. Craig chose to listen to femdom hypnotist Mistress Amethyst’s recording “Eruption: Female Orgasm,” which is a feminization hypno that intends to make listeners “cum like a girl.” The hypno suggests it “transforms” a person’s body “into the female form, full of sensitive pleasure nerves” before encouraging listeners to “explore” their bodies, “rubbing all the sensitive spots.” Finally, as the person feels “pulsing arousal flowing through [their] body,” Mistress Amethyst says she “takes over and rubs [them] into an explosive, long-lasting, full-body, female orgasm.”
Craig describes feeling like he entered a lucid dream. “I saw and felt the skin on my chest stretch and become very sensitive,” he reported to the rest of the subreddit. “My waist narrowed, and I felt pleasure and arousal in between my balls and ass. While this was happening, and suggestions were given about my clit, I felt a very intense pleasure at the base of where my dick would be. In this experience, I would look down and see not a dick, but a pale-skinned pussy.”
“When [Mistress Amethyst] finally gave her trigger for me to have a full-body female orgasm, that growing, intense pleasure rushed suddenly over my body,” he continued. “I could feel it in my toes, hands, breasts, neck and my head became fuzzy. The pleasure kept increasing and building. All of a sudden, my back arched up and the pleasure spiked all down my spine.”
Craig’s experience stemmed from feminization hypnosis, also known as sissy hypno, which alleges to feminize men and turn them into real-life “sissies.” (This type of hypnosis has even spurred a whole subreddit of sissy porn “recoverers,” who claim it’s “manipulated” them into liking men, cross-dressing and becoming trans.) Many men don’t want to be feminized, though — they just want to experience the feeling of a female orgasm, usually because it differs significantly from their own. When equipped with a clit, a vagina and a G-spot, a person has little, if any, of the refractory period that plagues penises, and they can experience the ever-increasing pleasure of multiple orgasms.
The clit also has far more pleasurable nerve endings than the penis does, and combining clitoral stimulation with other types of touch or penetration can multiply those sensations in a way people with dicks can’t approximate. “I’m happy with my body and my sexuality,” wrote one redditor, “but I wish it was possible for my mind to slip outside of my body and get into a woman’s body just for one night.”
To experience this, the listener has to be “transformed into a woman” — or anyone with a clit and vagina — which is exactly what feminization hypno does. That said, erotic hypnotist Nimja Hypnosis tells me that full feminization isn’t technically “required,” but “it does help with the mindset.”
Still, Neil the Erotic Hypnotists says there are a couple of problems with this. The first is that it’s not as easy to be hypnotized as people seem to think. “The majority of people won’t get much from pre-recorded hypnosis files,” Neil tells me (he does add that those who do respond can experience hands-free orgasms). “As for men experiencing female orgasms through files, that gets into some philosophical territory. An orgasm is a very personal phenomenon. Chances are each person has a unique experience, because our brains are all wired differently. Of course, there are similarities among men due to common physiology, and among women for the same reason — and there are even similarities between men and women, since some of our physiology is similar.”
But, Neil says, he remains skeptical of the whole idea — if you don’t know what someone else’s orgasm feels like, how do you know if you’ve experienced it? “If a man listening to a ‘female orgasm’ file has an orgasm, he’s feeling what his subconscious thinks a woman would feel. Is that similar to what a woman actually feels? There’s no way to know, but as I said, even two women won’t feel an orgasm the same way.”
Thus, rather than experiencing a gender-transformed orgasm, these men are likely just enjoying the effortless pleasure of a touch-free orgasm, which many say are among the best orgasms they’ve ever had.
Still, given that heterosexual woman cum less than any other demographic during sex, men climaxing alone in their rooms could well match the reality of straight women’s orgasms anyway.
